It's meeee again; the oldest nail-nut in this artistic realm.I think LOL
I am soo new at the blog stuff or at least the designing of the page.Please look over that part and just peek at the pics of my obsession.
I stated once before that I made my own colored polish and created my own bling MANY years ago. Before what the market holds today.
When acrylics were first unveiled to ladies I had the chance to learn from the git-go. Instead I cow-towed to my husband and had to forgo the chance.However; I was already years into growing my natural nails etc. and went about raising my daughters.Yeah,someone come kick me booty.
At the age of 14 I made my own colored polish.I'm not saying there wasn't any on the market;I just didn't know of any.
So; I took Avons white and added food coloring to it and just thought I was da-bomb-diggity!! hahahahahaha
And the dazzle came from old costume jewelry that I picked the glass from or anything shiny was destined to be flashing on my hands. What a hoot in comparison to todays great abundance of embellishments huh?
And the artists that use the tiny canvases to create breathtaking scenery; vivid color or classy clean designs.I admire them all;and yes jealousy does niggle at me. :0/
The years have passed my by and my hands are not as steady as they once were so my freehand design leaves a lot to be desired.
And my eyes aren't as sharp or clear to determine the stopping line for a line etc.
So; I spend hours going from site to site drinking in the awesomeness of your creations;and in the privacy of my home trying to copy or create something truly worthy to be added on here and seen.
