The One that got away

Hello walls;
Still in a downward spiral of sorts with my inability to create a mani that I am proud of.HOWEVER; this one is close BUUUUTTTTTT.....I cannot get a decent pic of it!! It is alive with sparkly diamonds(glitter being the poor girls diamonds) and well it's just super to me. Pale pink base,SHansen ; but the designs are handmade by me!!!!  I fiddle-faddled around with some glittered enamel paints etc. on plastic,let it dry then just picked out various shapes etc. Such fun!!

So; here goes the posting of the few pics I did get.....as if anyone cares or may even see.All indoors under 75watt bulb and CHEEEEP web cam.

 

In a hurricane hurry!!

I am in a pure funk tonight. I have done my own natural nails since I was 11 yr. old. And yesterday I did my mani 3 times!!!!  NOT ONE THING went right. It all started out in my thoughts. I did my prep.Removal,clean,repaired 2 and so on.

Got my base on, and went to choose my colors..............
Ever had the kind of mental tangent where; nothing looked good,but they all had potential?I mean color combos?
From that 30 minutes on ,there was just NO connection with the image in my head and my nails. Make sense ya'll?

So, I just did, this,that and more of it. At one point I was.........I should have, I could have called it done .O NOOOOOOO;not me.Another 30 minutes and it looked like I had my nails in a blender.hahahahahahaha
OFF it all came.
Then repeat. As they say trial and error,error,  yes error.
And even TEARS! WHAT is going on with me?!!!

It's like going through menopause of nails(follow me?) ANOTHER TRY and 4designs later.......i'm seeeing double,polish to my knuckles and angry. 
One of the things I so loved about me,is my nail grooming and embellishment. For 49 years;now I look like  .....YUK.
I'm going to post and without shame show what i've done lately.And yesterdays  too, sorry.


Don't count  ne out;just count me loooowwwwww.

Mo Messy Manis

Hello walls;
I know people come by,or so the counter says . But it must be harder to spell laughter than it is to say "dropped by;practice,practice".

No matter; i'll keep posting my art,on my NATURAL nails and make no apologies for them.Most folks looking are younger,have steadier hands and sharp eyes.
I was embellishing nails before most were born.
Raising kids as the new designs/decals/stampers were created and barely had money for food much less polish and doo-dads.
I missed out on pursuing my dream of nail art etc. So I will spend my golden days doing my best to create the nail art I always dreamed of.
And will share my expertise(LOL) and advice.

Now have I mentioned that these were taken with a $7 EBay web cam. So the manis are really quite good but the camera sucked.LOL
